A multidisciplinary showcase of experimental film, stop motion, motion design, 3D animation, and documentary. Merging fine art with digital media, the work reflects a strong command of industry tools and visual storytelling — where concept, craft, and technology meet.

Stop Motion Experiment

Role: Creative Director, Cinematographer, Animator, Jewelry Designer, Fabricator, Editor

Techniques: Stop Motion Animation, Frame-by-Frame Digital Drawing, Storytelling, Enameling, Product Photography, Motion Design

This mixed-media short combines stop motion film animates a pair of asymmetrical enamel earrings — designed, fabricated, and conceptualized by the artist. The earrings were showcased at the Crow Museum of Asian Art in Dallas, presented as both wearable sculpture and narrative object. Each earring mirrors the other in spirit, yet differs in form — similar but not the same — symbolizing the beauty of human individuality within shared equality.    The piece draws from fashion design, object-based storytelling, and experimental animation to deliver a poetic reflection on balance, identity, and inclusivity. It reflects a multidisciplinary production process bridging craft, animation, and visual narrative — offering a distinct voice shaped by cross-field innovation and conceptual depth.

Artist interview demo

Role: Founder, Art Director, Cinematographer, Editor                           Techniques: Documentary Interview, Multi-Camera Setup, Natural Lighting, Narrative Editing Rooted in a deep curiosity about how art mirrors life, this body of work grew from my transition from biology into art — a shift that made me especially attuned to the emotional and intellectual ecosystems artists navigate. As founder of the MICA_NFAT Artist Interview Series, I created a platform to connect emerging students with established artists through honest dialogue about process, doubt, and the changing value of art.                                                                                                     Alongside this institutional project, I also documented personal interviews with artists I’ve known — individuals facing profound life challenges who responded with adaptation, resilience, and creativity. These stories expanded the project’s scope into a deeper reflection on human experience, survival, and the role of art as both outlet and lifeline.        Across both series, I served as art director, cinematographer, and editor, shaping each episode as more than documentation — as a space for shared vulnerability, transformation, and meaning.
